What's the difference between the Portola 02 and the Portola 02 Lite?
Both models share the same frame, motor, Intui-Drive Dual Sensor Pedal Assist, and are available with either a 10Ah or 15Ah battery. The difference comes down to features. The Portola 02 includes welded fenders, an integrated 150 lb welded rear rack that’s compatible with Connect+ accessories and the optional Extendable Cargo Rack, plus an integrated rear brake light with turn signals. The Portola 02 Lite has a more minimalist setup without the welded rack, fenders, or integrated rear lighting.
How is the Portola 02 different from the original Portola?
The biggest upgrade is the new Intui-Drive Dual Sensor Pedal Assist, allowing you to switch between responsive torque sensing and traditional cadence sensing. It also features a more powerful 750W motor with 90Nm of torque, optional 15Ah battery, a 3″ color display with Apple Find My integration, 100mm suspension fork with lockout, upgraded hydraulic brakes, and integrated turn signals on the Portola 02.
Can I switch riding classes?
Yes. The Portola 02 ships as a Class 2 ebike and can be configured as Class 1, 2, or 3 directly through the display, depending on local regulations and where you ride.

What does Apple Find My do?
The integrated display works with Apple’s Find My network, allowing you to locate your bike through the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac if it’s ever misplaced. Apple Find My is currently available only for Apple devices.
How much cargo can the rack carry?
The Portola 02’s welded rear rack is rated to 150 lbs and is compatible with the Connect+ accessory system, including baskets, coolers, pet carriers, passenger accessories, and the optional Extendable Cargo Rack for oversized loads.
Can you ship to _______?
We only ship within the US and Canada. The contiguous United States is FREE. Hawaii and Alaska is $600. Shipping to Canada is $100. We are not responsible for any additional tariffs charged by your local government which often times applied after importing. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship our bikes directly to Europe. You can use a shipping forwarder like ShopUsa.com to reach your country.
Is the Portola 02 waterproof?
The Portola 02 is water-resistant, not waterproof. It’s designed to handle rain and wet roads, but should not be submerged, pressure washed, or stored outdoors for extended periods.Storing your ebike in the elements could shorten the lifespan of the electric bike.
