Ride1Up as a company gets 5 stars. The bike itself gets 4, chiefly due to a lack of power. This is my first eBike and I went off my experience riding friend's bikes and what YouTubers stated about this bike. YouTubers kind of create a false impression of the power, so that's not on revv1 As far as fit/finish, I really like the style and the nice welds. What surprised me is the lack of power for a 210 pound guy. It'll get me up to speed on flat ground, but any real hill is a no go. You just lose power/speed going up. All in all, this for me is a summer cruiser to go and hang out with friends. Ride to restaurants and along the beach - so mostly flat ground. But if you are in hilly or mountainous terrain and weigh more than say 150 lbs, you're going to need more power. Down the line once the batteries die, I will do a 72V conversion. Then I'll have style + power. Oh also, pedaling -- that's doable on flat ground to get home. Not easy. Unless you're in really good shape, forget it if multiple hills are in your path.

The bike itself is awesome, great torque and top speed. And great for a tall/larger person. I’m 6’2” and 230lbs and it hauls me around great. However, i also ordered the passenger seat and cage, and for the money the quality leaves a lot to ask for. The cage is flimsy, and the latches don’t seem like they’ll last all that long, but the passenger seat had the most issues. It had poor upholstery, and the two threaded mounting holes were garbage. It snapped one of the two bolts trying to slowly get it to seat all the way down, luckily I had a similar size bolt handy. The washer provided is also too big. The seat seems sturdy but it seems like an afterthought and not worth the price tag having to make my own modifications to install it properly.

The bike did not arrive totally intact as some of the cables were severed or split which did not put a smile on my face. However, the issue has since been resolved and I can testify to how fun the bike is to ride. I like how I can carry 12 beers in the storage compartment.

Never thought I would spend this amount of money on a bike, but it's great

I love this bike!! It arrived nicely packed and was straightforward to assemble. I find any excuse to take this for a ride as much as possible.
